About Me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t have to figure everything out before reaching out.

I’m Lauryn, a counsellor who values a down-to-earth, collaborative approach. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and never judged while also helping you make real, meaningful change.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on building practical tools, understanding patterns, or working through deeper experiences that are keeping you stuck.

I have a special interest in supporting individuals struggling with eating behaviours and body image. I offer a structured CBT-E program designed to create lasting change, not just short-term relief.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), currently pursuing my Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) designation. I’ve completed specialized training in CBT-E through the University of Oxford.

If you’re thinking about starting therapy, you don’t have to have it all figured out. We can take that first step together.
