Individual Counselling & Eating Disorder Support
I offer one-on-one counselling for children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, life transitions, relationships, and concerns related to food and body image. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in difficult patterns, or looking for additional support, therapy can help you better understand what’s going on and begin making meaningful changes.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and structured eating disorder support tailored to your unique needs.
In addition to individual counselling, I offer shorter Child & Youth Support Sessions as well as a structured CBT-E program for individuals seeking more focused support around eating behaviours, body image, and lasting recovery.
My Services
Individual Counselling
Individual counselling offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore what you’re going through and begin making meaningful changes. I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and concerns related to self-esteem, food, and body image.
Our work together is collaborative and tailored to you. Some sessions may focus on building practical coping strategies, while others may involve exploring deeper patterns, emotions, and experiences that are keeping you feeling stuck. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to support both insight and action.
Whether you’re looking for short-term support or longer-term therapy, we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable while working toward meaningful, lasting change.
Child & Youth Support Sessions
Shorter 30-minute Child & Youth Support Sessions are also available for children, younger adolescents, or individuals who may benefit from a more focused and developmentally appropriate appointment length. These sessions are designed to provide a supportive and approachable space for younger clients to explore emotions, build coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and navigate challenges related to school, friendships, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, behavioural concerns, or life transitions.
These appointments may also be used to support parents or caregivers through consultation, parenting support, emotional coaching strategies, school-related concerns, or collaborative discussions focused on strengthening communication and support within the home environment.
Sessions are tailored to the unique needs, developmental stage, and comfort level of each individual, and may incorporate conversation, psychoeducation, creative activities, grounding strategies, or skill-building approaches when appropriate. Child & Youth Support Sessions are available both in-person and virtually depending on client needs and suitability.
CBT-E: Guided Eating Recovery Program
The Process is a structured, evidence-based program developed from Oxford University grounded in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), developed specifically for individuals experiencing difficulties with eating behaviours, body image, and related concerns.
This program follows a clear, step-by-step approach over approximately 20 sessions, helping you understand the patterns that maintain your relationship with food and your body. Together, we work to establish regular eating, reduce behaviours such as restriction, bingeing, or purging, and address the underlying thoughts and beliefs that drive these cycles.
Alongside behavioural change, the program focuses on developing a more balanced and flexible way of thinking about food, weight, and self-worth. You’ll build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and learn how to maintain progress long-term.
The structured nature of CBT-E allows for consistent progress while still being tailored to your individual needs, making it a highly effective approach for lasting recovery.
